founded in early 2008. He enjoys vintage racing his 1976 Johnson,
and jumping rivers. Sometimes it takes a couple pull backs to get er’
over, but he always finds a way. Fine. |

Matt is currently the only Industrial Engineer on the team. He is
also the only music major. He is working on finishing up the
engineering degree so he can work on building steel pans, the instrument
made from an oil drum. |

Mason has been snowmobiling for about 13
years. He is certified to teach the Illinois Snowmobile safety
class for the DNR, and has been volunteering his time for the past three
years to educating the youth about snowmobile safety. He is a finance
major at NIU and is graduating in Spring of 2009. In his spare
time, Mason enjoys rebuilding fences. |

Matt Davis has been on the team since it had started in
January 2008. He is known for his 5 Dollar Foot Long and loves
Monster Cans. After graduating with an M.E. Degree in the Spring of
2008, he decided to go back to school primarily to still be on the team.

Jarred Hopkinson is a senior mechanical
engineering student at NIU hoping to work in the Excavating/Construction
equipment industry. He has always had snowmobiles, motorcycles, and jet
skis ever since he can remember. His favorite thing to look forward to
all year is his winter snowmobile vacations in Hurley,WI. |

Tim Olson is the design team leader of the team.
Snowmobiling was born into his blood. Nothing's better than riding
the steep and deep and having snow blast you in the face. He rides
hard and has no idea where any of his teammates buy underwear. Tim
enjoys to tan by welding with nothing on. |

Drew is a freshman at Northern Illinois
University and majoring in Mechanical Engineering and plans on working
in the automotive or power sports industry. He's been riding dirt bikes
and quads since about 12, but is currently more into wakeboarding and
snowboarding. |

Kurt is a senior Mechanical Engineering
student from St. Charles, IL. He is an automotive junkie: he's been
working on cars before he was able to drive. Joining the NIU Snowmobile
team has given him an excellent opportunity to apply his experience of
working on cars and his education to help the team win. |

Andrew is a sophomore Mechanical Engineering
major. He enjoys backpacking and listening to music. He is from Geneseo,
IL. Andrew has a big attitude with a small package.

Blake is a Business Administration major and is currently a sophomore.
He is from Geneseo Illinois. Blake has been racing motorcycles for about
ten years and riding snowmobiles for about three years.

Woodlief, Andrew Back to Top |
Andrew is a sophomore transfer student majoring in Mechanical
Engineering. He used to ride dirt bikes and quads in middle school and
high school but now it's all about snowmobiles. He spends a lot of his
winter working on or riding his sled.
